How to Reduce The amount of Water you use

2 Ways to do it! (One small step at a time)

First of all try not run the tap while brushing your teeth. This highly increases the amount of water you use; as you are not using the running water. Try just wash your brush and turn the tap of. As you know sometimes it can be hard to follow, but as you keep on getting used to the habit it becomes easier.

Fact: Those who earn less annually are more likely to keep the water running. There are many ways to conserve water around the house, and one of them is to shut off the faucet while brushing one's teeth. Doing so for just two minutes could conserve eight gallons of water per day, according to a study conducted by the EPA.

The second thing I highly recommend to do is try limit the amount of time you use in the shower. Doing this can reduce a lot of water . I usually go in the shower for five minutes which is perfectly enough. Another alternative is  to use a bucket instead of the shower.

Fact : For a standard shower head, every minute wasted equates to 2.5 gallons of water — and insofar as some of it is warm, says Schein, “that’s energy-rich water that we’re running down the drain.”

Save the turtles!

The best two ways! The main things that maltreat Turtles are plastic bags and plastic straws.   Plastic bags affect turtles because   they eat them and amuse their jellyfish. Otherwise, they can get trapped  in them and choke on plastic bags.  Turtle hatchlings eat microplastics  produced from tiny plastic-like straws.  The solution is to use :          >  Glass straws  >  Bamboo Straws   >  Cloth Bags  >  Paper Bags  All of these are reusable and friendly. Although some clothes may have synthetic fibers; so you may have to check if it has synthetic fiber.  I like using bags made out of natural fibers.  Where can you find these cloth bags, bamboo straws, etc.? Raine Reusables I would recommend the  shop Raine Reusables they have  the best glass and bamboo straws.  All of their  products are  toxic-free and environmentally friendly. ...

How plastic pollution affects Marine Life

Effects on Marine Life A large number of marine species are known to be harmed and/or killed by plastic debris, which could harm their survival, especially since many are already endangered by other forms of human activities like; oil spills, fishing and drainage water spilling. Not only that but many animals think that its their prey and chew them, then they choke and die. For example Leather back turtles eat jellyfish so when they see a plastic bag it looks like a jellyfish and they eat it (Choke and die). Marine life can also get them entangled and hurt their limbs if they get stuck. In one  coincident a animal can get tangled on their neck and again choke and die. Thank You For Reading! By: A.
